MINI-SOLAR
Children (10-12 yrs) build their own solar-power driven mini-boats and test the buoyancy and velocity of their design. The race will be in a swimming pool close to Solar Village.
This is a perfect project to let the young generation meet with the future of sustainable energy.

YOUNG SOLAR CHALLENGE
Young Solar Challenge is organisation behind the Young Solar. High school pupils (14-17 yrs) build their own solar-powered boat during specific classes and after school. Young Solar provides a construction kit and three junior classes at several university colleges throughout the country. Teachers are amazed by the fanaticism of their pupils.

OPEN - CLASS
The teams are encouraged to think outside the box. They are challenged to compete for the best designs and smartest technologies. Speeds of over 50 km/h have been measured, spectacular!
